🇬🇭 EDUCATE GHANA SUMMIT(EGS) RELEASE
THE MOST EFFECTIVE WAYS TO PREVENT SPREAD OF CORONAVIRUS –
Dir. Policy and Research.
The Coronavirus is fast becoming Africa’s problem. Our culture and ways of doing things make us stand higher risk of contracting the virus. Since there is no cure for the virus, we are left with no choice than to resort to the following semi-simple natural ways to avoid being infected:
- The virus does not spread on its own; we are the ones that spread it. So stay at home to avoid being infected or to prevent the spread. If we all try to stay home, we shall prevent the most dangerous aspect of this pandemic; community spread!
Don’t think hospitals have medicine to cure it; so stay at home to save your life and that of our vulnerable health workers.
This is the only sure way to prevent hospital spread. Our health workers are even at higher risk of being infected than the ordinary person. If you have similar symptoms to that of Coronavirus, kindly self-isolate and call 112; the experts shall tell you what to do and where to go to save your life.
Again, there is no cure for the virus, so stay at home if you don’t want to be infected.
You are human, you can be infected and you can die. So, beloved, stay at home because you only live once.
WHAT TO DO AT HOME
a. As we stay at home, let us eat well, have enough sleep and drink enough water
b. Add lemon or lime to your diets; slice lemon into warm water to drink
c. Reduce the usage of air-conditioning
d. Have a quality time with your family. Let us use this period of staying home to renew our love and care for our partners and for our kids. We need each other and our kids need us now more than ever before.
e. Increase vitamin c intake.
We have shown you the most effective ways to avoid being infected. It is now your choice to either follow or ignore.
STAY HOME; STAY SAFE!
YOLO (You Only Live Once) so don’t joke with it.
