AGAIN KETE KRACH TIMBER RECOVERING (KKTR) ASSUMPTION OF WORK ON THE AFRAM ARMS – COMMUNICATION SPECIALIST HITS
An information reaching the socio-political show “Mpu ne Mpu” news desk indicated that the Kete Krachi Timber Recovery company will be back on the Afram arms to complete what they were doing before leaving for an assignment by Ghana Maritime Authority.
The company which was authorized by Government to cut tree stumps from the Lake Volta and the Afram River to ensure safe transportation for traders who uses the lake and the River as the only means of transportation, fishermen, school children and all citizens living along the Lake as well as the River.
A vivid interiogations with Mr. Kwaku Sersah – Johnson the communication specialist of the company by The socio-political show host; Torgbui Gadeka (Dr) of Afram fm 103.3mhz indicates that the company’s one – District – One – factory for Asuogyaman District inaugurated by His Excellency, President Nana Addo Danquah Akuffo- Addo in November, 2018.
Mr Kweku Sersah-Johnson, the communication specialist for the Kete Krachi Timber Recovery company added while in one -on-one radio interview with Torgbui Gadeka that they had to stop work in the Afram Arm late last year to go and carry-out some tree cutting in the Lake at Dambai area for the Government and Ghana Maritime Authority.
Speaking, he further stated that they are back to finish what they were doing on the Afram arms by cutting tree stumps from the Afram River to ensure safety in transportation for traders, Fishermen,school children and all citizens living along the Afram River.
One could recall that KKTR has been on the Afram River previously but left for an unknown reason by stakeholders. Meanwhile working on the Afram river yielded numerous misunderstanding between the fisherfolks and the KKTR which was resolved amicably by Kwahu South DISEC’s intervention which was published by www.gbcghanaonline.com and titled Kwahu south fishermen smoke peace pipe with KKTR.
The communication specialist further explained that they were left with some little work on the Afram arms to complete and so they are back to finish it; starting on Friday 24th April,2020.
He then ended by making a passionate appeal to all stateholders especially chiefs, Fishermen,Citizens for absolute cooperation because the various Assembly members and ERCC are aware of their return.
