Corona virus: Lockdown – Gov’t must provide quality food or raw items to Ghanaians.
Government is not proven itself to be ready to continue the partial lock down.
Everyday, 95% Ghanaians move to the streets in search for food. Food provided by government, using public funds is of poor standard and quality.
We believe the people who handle the cooking of food present to different food to the leaders for tasting to what is sent to the people in communities.
Our health leaders, advising the president and it’s government to continue the partial lock down are not being considerate on the welfare of Ghanaians. They see it as an opportunity to fill their pockets. At the end of everyday, they receive monies and they also have enough funds to take care of themselves and families, so more weeks on lock down won’t affect them.
MPs who are supporting their constituents must do well to meet their people through house to house and make sure what is brought to them for tasting is the same that is sent to the electrates.
In search of votes, our MPs engage in house to house, so in this time of the pandemic, we believe they can do same in other to knowing the state of the people than wait till others destroy their names.
Government must revisit their table on sending cooked food or uncooked food items to the people in other to end the cry of quality that gets to communities.
We will endulge all Ghanaians to must obey and respect the presidents orders. He is the father of the house will is thinking about the well being of everyone, and he (Mr. President) must beware of high level of hunger, which can course one to do anything to feed both himself and family.
I will call on the government to properly put better measures that will help the country during this pandemic.
