BOAT OWNERS ASSOCIATION HAS ISSUE STRICT DIRECTIVE TO COMBAT Covid -19
The chairman for boat. Owners Association Mr Moses Abledu has issue a strict directives to both parents, guardian and boat drivers to deceit from carrying under age passengers to various Markets along the Afram River.
The Chairman in one- on -one interaction with Torgbui Gadeka made it clear that some people send their wards which are under age to market to buy them food items or some things that might be of need to them but unfortunately these children are not grown enough so they move and do things in the markets without adhering to the World Health Organization directives to combat the pandemic Coronavirus.
He added that with this we saw it to be very risky if necessary measures are not put in place to stop such bad habits which might cause a further spread of the Coronavirus.
So we are by this informing our workers thus boat drivers not to carry any body under age 18 years to any markets failure to obey the directives, we shall not be blame for any arrest by the security and we shall not be available to plead on your behalf the Chairman further stated.
To parents who will not listen and obey our current directives by send your under ward to market, when arrested you will face the punishment soley.
He end by saying, together we shall fight this pandemic to the end.
